Dr Obiamaka Ojukwu (Obi) graduated from King’s College School of Medicine in 2009. She also has a degree in Anatomy with Basic Medical Sciences (BSc). Obiamaka was a SHO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Barts Health NHS Trust before starting her current role as a specialist trainee in London.
Obi was an Honorary Research Associate in the Institute of Women’s Health at University College London. She participated in the data collection and conducted in-depth interviews with GPs and Clinical Leads in Reproductive Health to gain insight into the provision of pre-pregnancy care in England.
She is a co-author on the recent publication on ‘how women prepare for pregnancy.’ Her current focus is on the qualitative analysis of the GP interviews and writing a paper on the findings.
